More about the position
· Query resolution.
· Pre-alerting of specific shipments as required.
· Processing and monitoring of collections.
· Processing quotes for standard and special deliveries.
· Monitoring POD’s.
· Updating and processing incidents.
· Providing reports when required.
· Delay notifications.
· Capturing of waybills for in-house customers as required.
· Investigating invalid waybills.
· Following up on missed collections.
· Following up on missed and damaged shipments.
· Managing all queries related to returns and bookings.
· Assisting in all other areas where required and reasonably requested from time to time
Skills and requirements
· Must have Grade 12 certificate.
· Diploma/ Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or a related field is
· advantageous.
· Experience in the courier/logistics industry is essential (minimum of 2 years’ experience)
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· The ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once.
· Resilience and tenacity.
· Have a ‘customer first’ philosophy.
· Good negotiation skills.
