More about the position
• Query resolution.
• Pre-alerting of specific shipments as required.
• Processing and monitoring of collections.
• Processing quotes for standard and special deliveries.
• Monitoring POD’s.
• Updating and processing incidents.
• Providing reports when required.
• Delay notifications.
• Capturing of waybills for in-house customers as required.
• Investigating invalid waybills.
• Following up on missed collections.
• Following up on missed and damaged shipments.
• Managing all queries related to returns and bookings.
• Assisting in all other areas where required and reasonably requested from time to time
Skills and requirements
• Must have Grade 12 certificate.
• Diploma/ Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or a related field is
• advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• The ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once.
• Resilience and tenacity.
• Have a ‘customer first’ philosophy.
• Good negotiation skills.
