Seabourne Logistics opens a fourth location at Contour Avenue in Hoofddorp near Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands.

Hoofddorp – November 22, 2022: “We are very pleased with our next step and this expansion,” says Managing Director Jan Kalkman of Seabourne Logistics Netherlands. “This brand new location with 8,334m2 of floor space was really needed to properly facilitate the expected growth and to serve our customers.”

As of December 1st, we will be part of a large high-quality distribution centre at Prologis Park Schiphol of approx. 115,000 m² with a BREEAM Excellent sustainability certificate. Our location, DC5, is one of 4 units located on Contour Avenue in Hoofddorp with direct access to the A4 and N201.

In addition to the re-branding and 60th anniversary at the beginning of this year, the new location in Hoofddorp will have a strong focus on the B2B and B2C e-commerce market and Service Logistics. In addition to the two existing successful warehouse and fulfilment locations in Eindhoven and Sassenheim, we can offer even better and more efficient logistics solutions throughout the entire Supply Chain. This next step is a reflection of our growth in recent years and a confirmation of our growth strategy and ambition together with our people and new technologies.

Our current IT transition in addition to our existing business-to-business solutions will be further expanded to the business-to-consumer market. New logistics solutions, API connections with the various sales platforms and e-commerce systems provide a wider choice of shipping options, extra flexibility and better warehouse management for our customers. This also saves them time and investments of having to build and expand a logistics partner network without economies of scale outside their home market.

”This way we will continue to provide our customers full confidence that we are and will remain their preferred partner for all logistical challenges and solutions due to our extensive experience. From a factory anywhere in the world until final delivery to the end consumer,” says Kalkman.
